How these figures are calculated
- Only verified and reported completed sales are included. Asking prices and demo records are always excluded.
- Currency: USD only. Sales in other currencies are included only when a stored exchange rate exists for the sale date; no exchange-rate source is connected yet.
- Only sources whose licence allows public display are counted.
- The monthly chart uses sales with an exact day. Sales known only by month or year count in totals but never appear in the timeline.
- Months with no sales show zero. Gaps are never filled, and no trend arrows or percentage changes are shown.
- Medians are not shown for months with fewer than 3 sales.
What is available and what is missing
Available now: the rules above, which decide what can be counted, and the evaluation and comparison tools. Missing: licensed sales records, exchange rates for non-USD sales and a category system. Until those exist, this page shows counts of zero rather than estimated trends.
